Correction, God’s

“You mustn’t get lax in charity or ‘too big for your britches.’ I try to pull you down and back in line gently. I can’t help it if your pride causes you to overreact to My corrections. Sooner or later you will come to the point where you can tolerate it without becoming despondent, or rebellious, as you always do. Besides, what about that little flutter in your conscience that tells you something is not right? Are you listening to that? Yes, you have been listening, but be a little quicker to obey, when you hear that flutter. Keep your conscience clean. Always keep your conscience clean, and you will have very little to worry about in the realm of discernment. It is only when you stubbornly grab the bit in your teeth, and take off in your own direction, despite your husband’s warning. But I must let you learn the harder lessons.”     taken from: Jesus Teaches on Discernment

Lord, please make me as You say, make me willing to be made willing. Take my heart and make my heart and mind in such a way that I don’t want this way that way or the other way.

And bringing this back around to husbands and wives, it’s not important what I think, its not important want Clare thinks. What’s important is what does the Lord have to say about any given subject. And if I need to take correction, I want that. If He coughed, I’d run to hear it. You know? When He corrects me, I run to hear it! It’s not always easy but I love Him and I want to do what’s right. And there have been times in the past that we all have to go to the Lord and say,          “I don’t love You the way I should. I don’t think… I guess, maybe I don’t want…my motives aren’t as pure as they should be. Lord, make me more pure and honest and sincere about what is on Your heart and mind. What’s your will.”

"When I chasten and correct, it is for the welfare of not only the one I chasten, but for the whole Body; that all may learn the ways of charity and to avoid evil, because evil hurts and deprives life from others.”

"I do not chasten out of spite, but out of love, in the hopes that the soul will see the effect she has had on others.  She stops when she is chastened and asks herself, 'Lord why did you allow this to happen?' And I am quick to reply, if she remains truly open. Her chastening produces in her the result that her sin produced in others, so she can taste and feel the harm she has done.  In this way I give her new grace to overcome this sin and she can rise above her own selfish motives and conquer the evil that is offered to her at every moment by the demons who are waiting in line to make her fall.”

"And to those of you who feel it is your job to reveal error in My servants, be ever so careful. For I alone am qualified to judge, lest you step into My place and usurp My authority. There is still much you don't understand; there is still much quarreling and division among you.

"Is this not the immaturity of a child yet in diapers? Yes I say to you it is. This is why you are lacking for sound teaching that could prepare you for My coming, because you are busying yourselves with foolish ideas. Please, please, take heed. Do not go on recklessly injuring others, there is a price to pay. I prefer to love you with blessings rather than to correct you with chastisements.”
